Paul P. Kline

Paul P. Kline Jr., 85, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at 5 p.m. at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.

Mr. Kline graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1951 and served in the United States Army as a private first class during the Korean War. He retired from Our Sunday Visitor in Huntington after 45 years of service in envelope manufacturing. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a  second degree knight with Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of VFW Post 2689 in Huntington.

He was born April 29, 1933, in Huntington to Paul P. and Leona Schmitt Kline  Sr. He married Ruth Agnes Bir on April 28, 1956, in Huntington, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 27, 2001.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas A. Kline, of Noblesville; Michael J. (Jaima) Kline, of Huntington; and John P. (Casey) Kline, of Fishers; six daughters, Suzanne M. (Richard) Emley, Christine A. (Dan) Meadows, Mary J. (Jim) Wilson, Barbara S. (Doug) Steineman and Paula L. (Joe) Weill, all of Huntington; Anne F. (Peter) Eckert, of Roanoke; and Marie D. (Jeff) Hammel, of Andrews; a sister, Kathleen M. (Lee) Rinehart, of Huntington; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 7 pm. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington; a rosary service will be held at the end of visitation at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, with Rev. Steve Colchin officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington, with military graveside rites performed by VFW Post 2689 of Huntington.
