Madalyn A. Zinsmeister

Madalyn Anne Zinsmeister, 75, of Huntington, IM died of a stroke Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at 3:45 p.m. at St. Vincent North in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Zinsmeister was a graduate of Clear Creek High School. She worked at Pyle Industries for more than 10 years and retired from Bippus State Bank after 10 years. She was a life-long member of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was born Aug. 22, 1943, in Huntington to Robert F. and Mary E. Tyner Warner. She married James E. Zinsmeister on May 20, 1962, at Beech Grove Church, and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1971.

Survivors include two daughters, Ladema (Amy) Zinsmeister and Lisa (Steve) Hedges, both of Indianapolis; a son Joseph E. (Crystal) Zinsmeister, of Logansport; a brother, Max (Jackie) Warner, of Huntington; two sisters, Marcia Ruschhaupt and Millie (Dennis) Thornton, both of Huntington; five grandchildren, Lauren Hedges, Erica Hedges, James Zinsmeister, Jessica Biehl and Kristie Biehl; and a great-grandson.

Calling is Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 7 Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 2978W-1100N, Huntington, with Rev. Jason Parsons officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Huntington County.
