William R. 'Bill' Marshall

William R. “Bill” Marshall, 67, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at 12:30 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Marshall graduated in 1969 from Bedford High School in Pennsylvania. He then served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of VFW Post 2689 and American Legion Post 85, both in Huntington.

He was born April 9, 1951, in Washington, PA, to  William L. and Elizabeth Pinchak Marshall. He married Cecelia A. Knittig on Nov. 26, 2010, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include four daughters, Jeannette (David Sr.) Koughn, of Huntington; Nadine (Raymond Fisher) Cardinale, of Parma, OH; Michelle (Ryan) Ciolkos, of Fort Wayne; and Amy (Scott) Francis, of Janesville, WI; two sons, Eric (Jennifer) Davis Jr., of St. Louis, MO, and William Marshall Jr., of Huntington; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery.
