Charles L. 'Butch' Honey

Charles L. “Butch” Honey, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at 8:21 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Honey served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 50 years, working for both Atlas and United Van Lines.

He was born March 18, 1942, in Gary to Charles Honey and Betty W. Burley Walker. He married Glenna Fishbaugh on Jan. 16, 1996, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Shane Honey, of Los Angeles, CA, and Thomas Honey, of Phoenix, AZ; four daughters, Diana (Terry) George, of Wabash; Michelle Kuzemka; of Roanoke; Tammy (Clint) Wrisk, of Lagro; and Patricia Honey, of Phoenix, AZ; two stepsons, Jimmy Brandenberry, of Fort Wayne, and Troy (Paula) Quinn, of Gravice Hills, MO; a stepdaughter, Stacy Herrin; of Huntington; two brothers, June (Janet) Walker, of Huntington, and Stephan (Deborah) Honey, of Carson City, NV; a sister, Nora (Frank) Smith, of Mountain View, MO, 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will follow immediately after at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington, with military graveside rites performed by VFW Post 2689 of Huntington.
