Forrest F. Kramer Jr.

Forrest F. Kramer, Jr. 79, of Roanoke, IN, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Kramer graduated from Huntington High School in 1957 and received a Bachelor of Arts from Huntington College and his Master of Arts from St. Francis.  He was a quality assurance manager at Magnavox for more than 30 years.  He then worked at Ace Hardware for 15 years in Huntington. He was a member of Faith Community Church of God and a member of the NRA.

He was born Sept. 19. 1939, in Huntington to Forrest F. and Edith Call Kramer Sr. He married Nancy J. Daugherty on Aug. 1, 1965, and she survives.

Additional survivors are two sons, Kent (Carrie) Kramer, of Bowie, MD, and Chad (Angie Macy) Kramer, of Roanoke; a sister, Donna Thompson, of Huntington; and a grandson, Chad A. “Sparky” Kramer II.

Calling is Friday, March 8, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.   Additional calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service at the funeral home. Rev. Micah Mobley will officiate. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, 11201 S. Marion Rd., Marion.
