Charles E. Hart

Charles E. Hart, 74, of Bluffton, IN, and having family in Markle, IN, died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Signature Healthcare, in Bluffton.

Mr. Hart refereed basketball and was a baseball, softball umpire.  In his early years he worked at Gripco in South Whitley. After leaving Gripco, he was in real estate for a period of time and his most recent employment was with Nationwise Autoparts.  He had spent the last 10 years in skilled nursing care.

He was born Dec. 11, 1944, in Warsaw to Robert  and Cynthia Coy Hart.

He is survived by a son, Randy (Bobbi) Hart, of Pierceton; two daughters, Angie (Dale) Nine, of Markle, and Kim (Roger) Lezark, of Winona Lake; two brothers, Robert Hart and Jerry Hart, both of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Gladys (John) Spreeman, of Defiance, OH, and Shirley Brandt, of Pikeville, KY; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, April 28, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Roanoke.
