Carson L. Stoffel

Carson L. Stoffel, 15, of Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Rockford, IL, while competing at the Midwest Nationals BMX competition.

Mr. Stoffel was a student at Huntington North High School. He helped teach clinics for beginner BMX racers entering the sport.

He was born May 1, 2004, in Huntington to Jacob Stoffel and Krista Adkins Rohrabaugh. His father survives in Huntington and his mother survives in Roanoke.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Chandler Stoffel and Micah Rohrabaugh, both of Roanoke; two sisters, Marlie Rohrabaugh, of Roanoke, and Bryleigh Stoffel, of Huntington; maternal grandparents, Tracy Adkins, of Huntington, and Jeff (Jeana) Rohrabaugh, of Huntington; paternal grandparents, Mike and Rose Stoffel, of Huntington; maternal great grandparents, James and Linda Guhl, of Huntington; and Jack and Janis Davis, of Huntington; and paternal great-grandparents, Barbara Stoffel, of Huntington, and Joyce Ford, of Bluffton.

Calling is Sunday, June 23, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Huntington North High School, enter at door 28, 450 MacGahan St., Huntington. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 24, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Union Church, 3688E-400N, Huntington, with Tyler Harrison and Camille Kline officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Huntington County.
