Robert N. Bartlett

Robert Neal Bartlett, 87, of Kokomo, IN, and having ties to Van Buren, IN, died July 14, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.

Mr. Bartlett graduated from Van Buren High School. He worked in equipment sales with Marion Greenway Inc. for five years. Prior to that, he worked at Grant County Mobile Home Sales and RCA. He was a member and trustee at Sweetser United Methodist Church, as well as a previous member of Good Sam's Club and Raymond James Golf League at Arbor Trace Golf Course. He would often referee and umpire at the church and YMCA.

He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Marion to Russell and Dorothy Toler Bartlett. He married Ermadene Evans on April 9, 1950, and she preceded him death.

Survivors include a daughter, Beccie (Gary) Odle, of Swayzee; son, Robert Aaron (Justin Brooks) Bartlett, of Kokomo; two grandchildren, Shayna (Steve) Fields and Jarrad (Misty) Odle; and four great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, July 19, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, With Rev. David Steinke officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
