Phyllis J. Fisher

Phyllis J. Fisher, 85, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at 10:47 p.m. at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.

Mrs. Fisher attended Huntington High School and later received her GED. She had owned and operated Eatza Pizza in Markle and later owned an exercise and tanning salon in Huntington. She was the manager of Marsh Floral Shop and owned and operated Keefer Flower Peddler Floral Shop. She had attended Good Shepherd Church. She volunteered at Victory Noll making blankets and hats.

She was born July 5, 1934, in Huntington to William and Alberta Reynolds Jones. She married Bradley Crawford, and he preceded her in death. She later married Lynn Fisher, and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Ron) Carnes, of Huntington; three sons, Thomas (Amy) Crawford, of Belbrook, OH; Douglas (Sue) Crawford, of Wolcottville; and David (Mary) Crawford, of Twin Falls, ID; a sister, Judy Nekola; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; two great-great grandchildren; and a companion, Muriel Dickerson, of Bluffton.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the funeral home, with Rev. Bobby Kemp officiating. Interment will take place at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
