Ray L. Cale

Ray L. Cale, 84, of Nottingham Township, Wells County, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at 7:03 a.m. at Heritage Pointe of Warren, in Warren, IN.

Mr. Cale was a 1954 graduate of Petroleum High School. He had attended Hartford City and Montpelier schools. He was a member of the Bluffton National Guard. He was a Wells County farmer and a millright for 20 years for Haines Construction. He was a charter member of the Sonlight Wesleyan Church.
 
He was born June 19, 1935, in Blackford County to Robert O. and Marthella Bradley Cale. He married Helen M. Williams on Dec. 31, 1955, in Petroleum, and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Cale and Shari Cale, both of Poneto; two sons, Mark Cale, of Keystone, and Curt Cale, of Tennessee; a brother, Rex (Linda) Cale, of Uniondale; and four grandchildren, Gabrielle (Cale) Head, Jarvis Cale, Gunnar Cale and Jessika Collins.
 
Calling is Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service will be held Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Lyle Breeding officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
