Rose A. Morgan

Rose A. Morgan, 82, of Montpelier, IN, and having family in Warren, IN, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at 7:45 p.m. at her home.

Mrs. Morgan attended the Montpelier schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Montpelier, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She worked for the IOOF and Brookside cemeteries for 14 years. She retired from Sheller Globe in July 1991 after 29 years of service.
 
She was born Sept. 13, 1937, in Blackford County to Cecil W. Wilson and Olive Morgan. Her husband, Charles H. Morgan, preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Connie (Rodger) Watt, of Bluffton; Pamela Ramseyer  and Margaret (Kevin) Kuchcinski, both of Montpelier; and Angel (Mike) Bell, of Warren; a son-in-law, Terry Hamilton, of Montpelier; six sisters, Helen Velasquez, of Montpelier; Madge Stevenson, of Witchita Falls, TX; Florence (Terry) Egly, of Trenton; Jennie  Cox, of Marion; Cecile (Danny) Velasquez, of Poneto; and Patricia (Jerry) Coleman, of Albany; a brother, William "Bill" Morgan, of Montpelier; a sister-in-law, Charlene Dearduff, of West Virginia; 10  grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Hamilton; a son-in-law, Paul Ramseyer; a grandchild, Jonathan Adney; and a great-grandchild, Lincoln Hamilton.
 
Calling is Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service of celebration will be held immediately following on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Les Bantz officiating.  Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Montpelier.
