James D. 'Jimbo' Engelhart

James D.  “Jimbo” Englehart, 67, of Montpelier, IN, and having family in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at 3:01 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Englehart was a 1970 graduate of Blackford County High School. He was a retired maintenance man. He was a member of the Riverside United Baptist Church in Albany.

He was born Oct. 23, 1951, in Blackford County to Bob Englehart and Pat Albright Wilcoxin.  His father survives in Hamilton, OH. He married Connie Jo (Anderson) Englehart on Aug. 22, 1993, in Cambridge City, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Tyler Englehart, of Texas, and James Englehart, of New Castle; three sisters, Glory Smith, of Burkesville, KY; Niki Robinson, of Huntington; and Taina Wilcoxin, of Muncie; a brother, Monty Wilcoxin, of Muncie;  his mother and father-in-law, Helen and Delmar Neal, of Montpelier; and six grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service of celebration will be held Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Carl Goad and Rev. Steve Garrett officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
