Thomas A. Dial

Thomas A. Dial, 72, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Peabody Retirement Community, in North Manchester.

Mr. Dial worked construction for 20 years at Garrison Construction.  He later became co-owner of Broadway Bait & Fire Arms. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington, Indiana Bass Masters, and co-founder of NWTF–Flint Springs Chapter.

He was born March 14, 1947, in Huntington to William and Betty Dial. He married Linda J. Sumner on Aug. 28, 1965, and she survives.

Additional survivors are a son, Vincent (Melissa) Dial, of Columbia City; a daughter, Marcille (Gregory) Heiney, of Andrews; a brother, Gary Dial, of Albion; a sister, Leanne (Terry) Beekman, of Big Lake; three grandchildren, Johnathan (Kimberly) Heiney, Chelsea Heiney and Colton Dial.

Calling is Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A memorial service will follow immediately after at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with David Dean officiating. A private burial will be at a later date.
