James E. 'Jim' Roseberry

James E. “Jim” Roseberry, 69, of Van Buren, IN, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 11, 2019, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie.

Mr. Stansberry attended Lexington Senior High School in Lexington, OH. After high school he served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a welder.
 
He was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Marion, OH, to Edgar “Ted” and Goldia Stansberry Roseberry.

Survivors include his lifetime love of 29 years, Jenni Smith, of Van Buren, a daughter, Brandi (Andrew) Nolan, of  Grand Junction, CO; three sons, Nils (Sky) Roseberry, of Lafayette; Nick (Tara Miller) Roseberry, of Gas City; and Caleb Roseberry, of Lafayette; a daughter, Paige (Jeremy) Stone, of Hartford City; a sister, Cheryl Hendricks; two brothers, Roger Roseberry and Gary Stansberry; 14 grandchildren, Kade Likes, McKenna Nolan, Ryenn Nolan, Pegen  Wilson, Ruby Roseberry, Blaze Campbell, Sydney Stone, Zane Stone, Izzabella “Bella” Roseberry, Julien Roseberry, Lilly Roseberry, Keaton Roseberry, Penelope Roseberry and Oliver Roseberry; a great-grandchild and his companion of 29 years, Jenni Smith, of Van Buren.

Calling is Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W Main St., Van Buren. A service of celebration will be Tuesday, Dec.17, 2019, with viewing one hour before the service, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, with military honors conducted at the cemetery.
