Shelley R. Hubley, 59, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Hubley was a 1978 graduate of Huntington North High School and was a 1982 graduate of Indiana University, earning her degree in elementary education. She had worked for 10 years at Indiana Gas Company and had also worked at Indiana Box part-time as a receptionist for several years. She taught as a special education aide at Horace Mann Elementary School and fourth grade at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic School. She attended St. Peter’s First Community Church.
She was born Oct. 16, 1960, in Huntington to John H. and Carol E. Dolby Wallace, of Huntington. Her mother, Carol (Samuel) Shenefield, survives in Huntington. She married Martin Hubley on Sept. 29, 1984, at St. Peter’s First Community Church, and he also survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Amanda Hubley, Elizabeth Hubley and Hannah (John) Carmichael, all of Huntington; a sister, Carole (Eugene) Monroe, of Wabash; and two brothers, Michael (Yong) Wallace, of Fort Wayne, and Glenn (Soon) Wallace, of Andrews.
Calling is Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a funeral service to follow immediately after at 2 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery.
