Jeffrey Alan Humphries, 51, of Montpelier, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 10:47 a.m. in Montpelier from injuries received from an industrial accident.
Mr. Humphries was a graduate of Huntington North High School. He was a 17-year member of the Indiana National Guard. He had worked at NRP in Montpelier for two years. He was a member of the Millard Brown American Legion Post 156.
He was born July 27, 1968, in Monticello to Robert A. and Sharon T. McCloud Humphries. His parents survive in Roanoke. He married Tara Twibell on April 16, 2016, in Montpelier, and she survives.
Additional survivors include five daughters, Mikeala D. Twibell, Mikenna D. Twibell, Mikeiya D. Twibell and Chea L. Davis, all of Montpelier, and Whitney N. Dishman, of Fairmount; a brother, Brian Humphries, of Roanoke; two sisters, Lisa (Tony) Crenshaw, of Indianapolis, and Vickie (John) Sherbahn, of Fort Wayne; a mother-in-law, Darlene Twibell, of Montpelier; two sisters-in-law, Renda Heyerly, of Montpelier, and Jo (Dee) Rhoton, of Knobnoster, MO; a brother-in-law, Rick Anderson, of Bluffton; and five grandchildren, Jaceson Hosch, Lilianna Hosch and Trinity Dishman, all of Fairmount, and Paige Montgomery and Arrabella Rogers, both Montpelier.
Due to Covid-19, calling is private for the family at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier. A public graveside service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at noon at the Keystone Friends Cemetery, Keystone, with Ryan Ingram officiating.
