Lynn Scott Shaw

Lynn Scott Shaw, 87, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mr. Shaw was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson High School and joined the US Army shortly after high school in 1953. He graduated from Indiana Barber School and owned and operated Lynn's Barber Shop in Mt. Etna for many years. He also spent several years as a painter in the Huntington County area. He was a member of the National Dutch Rabbit Association, the Mt. Etna United Methodist Church and the Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge.
 
He was born on April 2, 1933, in Huntington County to Ora "Dutch" and Evelyn Scott Shaw. He married Mary Stanley on April 3, 1953, and she survives in Warren.


Surviors include three sons, Barry Shaw and Brad (Linda) Shaw, both of LaFontaine, and Tracy (Jessica) Shaw of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Denise (Lee) Sheehan, of Decatur;  a sister, Marjory Shaw of Warsaw; 7 grandchildren, Angie Leichty, Andrew Shaw, Adam (Danielle) Shaw, Aaron Shaw, Jacob Shaw, John Shaw and Nolan Shaw;  7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren Audra Cocklin and Adrienne Cocklin.


He was preceded in death by one infant grandson.


Calling will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Masonic Services beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N Matilda St., Warren. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mike Gallant will be officiating and burial will follow at Mt. Etna Cemetery, in Mt. Etna, Huntington County, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren.
