Edward N. “Ed” Williams

Edward N. “Ed” Williams, 86, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at 5:20 a.m. at Oakbrook Village in Huntington.

Mr. Williams worked as a truck driver for Kroger, retiring in 1996 after 27 years of service. He was also a member of Grand Street Baptist Church in Wabash.
 
He was born on Dec. 8, 1933, in Scuddy, KY, to Cecil and Lonia Combs Williams. He married Wilma Faye Arms on Jan. 3, 1951 in Hazard, KY, and she preceded him in death. He later married Phyllis Wood and she preceded him in death on Nov. 30, 2016.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Van) Juillerat, of Huntington; two sons, Ray (Janna) Williams, of Huntington, and Jeff (Betty) Williams, of Fort Wayne; two stepdaughters, Vicky (Matt) Snodderly, and Brenda (Galen) Stoffel, both of Huntington; a stepson, Rick (Linda) Wood, of Columbia City; two brothers, Donald Williams, of Fort Wayne, and Larry (Cindy) Williams, of Huntington; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Calling will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Matthew Snodderly and Rev. John Denniston officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery in Huntington County. Those in attendance are asked to follow local recommendations for face coverings and social distancing during all events.
