Steve E. Kellogg

Steve E. Kellogg, 58, of Montpelier, IN, and with family in Huntington, IN, died on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at 5:10 a.m., at home with his family by his side.

Mr. Kellogg spent most of his life operating his heavy equipment business. He was a Shriner with the 32nd degree Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne, Mizpah Blackford County Shrine Express. He was a Master Mason and long-time member with Blackford Lodge 106, and former member of the Montpelier Millard Brown American Legion post 156.

He was born on May 23, 1962, in Hartford City, to Steve A. and Barbara Stroud Kellogg. His father survives. He married Monica Felver on Feb. 12, 1989, at Wildwood Acres in Hartford City. She survives in Montpelier.

Additional survivors include three sons, Steve J. Kellogg, of Muncie, Seth A. (Carissa Patrick) Kellogg, of Hartford City, and Richie E. (Laci) Kellogg, of Yorktown; two sisters, Babs (Bill) Cook, of Portland, and Tamara (Eric) Hartley, of Montpelier; two step-brothers, Brian Jack, of Bluffton, and Chris (Erika) Jack, of Bluffton; a step-sister, Amy (Joe) Reineck, of Liberty Center; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Chery Diehl, of Huntington; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Jennifer Felver, of Hartford City; and nine grandchildren.

Calling will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. There will be a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 15.

A funeral service will be held at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, with Rev. John Kellogg officiating. There will be an hour of viewing before the service and burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery in Hartford City. The family requests everyone coming to the funeral home to please wear casual clothing to honor Steve.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses, Tori's Butterfly Garden or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
