Sandra E. John 77, of Fort Wayne, IN, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Ms. John graduated from Roanoke High School in Huntington County with the class of 1961 as the salutatorian. She received an associate’s degree from International Business College of Fort Wayne. She retired from Navistar of Fort Wayne after many years as an administrative assistant. She attended Brookside Church of Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she was previously a Mary Kay consultant.
She was born in Hot Springs, AR, the daughter of Dan Raines and Dorothy Burroughs.
She is survived by her son, Christopher John, of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Jennifer Savieo, of Fort Wayne; brother, Robert Raines, of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Barbara Sauer, of Wildwood, FL; Shelia (Dan) Rumsey, of Roanoke; grandson, Mason John, of Fort Mill, SC; two granddaughters, Riley (Tyler) Harris, of Fort Wayne and Kenidee Savieo, of Fort Wayne; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington, with funeral service immediately following. Face coverings and social distancing is required. There will be a limit of 50 people in the building at a time.
