Leona E. Flora, 107, of Warren, IN, and formerly of Roanoke, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at 6 p.m., at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Mrs. Flora previously owned Village Inn in Roanoke with her husband. She also worked at Be In Boutique in Roanoke. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke where she was a member of the Rosary Society.
She was born on Oct. 28, 1913, in Randolph County, to Glenn and Bessie Brown. She married Edward Flora on June 3, 1933, in Muncie. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Danny Flora, of Roanoke; a grandson, Don Flora, of Fort Wayne; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Sweatland; a son-in-law, Arthur Sweatland; a daughter-in-law, Donna Flora; two grandsons, Douglas and David Flora; and a great-great-granddaughter, Lilliana Shull.
Calling will be held on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 9 to 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow with Rev. Dale Bauman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
