Dan Caffoe

Dan Caffoe, 65, formerly of New Castle, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.

Mr. Caffoe became a professional golfer after high school and worked as an assistant professional in Florida. He then became a head professional in Findlay, OH. He later purchased Norwood Golf Course in Huntington. He owned and partnered in many businesses, including Clark’s Recycling, ImQuest Life Sciences and BioSciences and Pharmaceuticals. He also worked as an independent insurance agent. 

He was born on March 17, 1955, in Fort Benning, GA, to Ronald and Loretta Caffoe. His mother survives. He married Missy Risser Caffoe in Huntington. She survives.

Additional survivors include two children Drew (Jen) Clark and Emily (Dan) Krleski; father-in-law, Max Risser; four siblings, Cindy (Doug) Furbee, Bob (Nancy) Caffoe, Beth (Bill) Leonard and Michelle Radomsky; a brother-in-law, Stan (Kim) Risser; a sister-in-law, Lori (Jack) Casey; and four grandchildren.

No services will take place at this time. Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
