Myron G. Ridgeway, 82, of Andrews, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at 12:55 a.m., at Miller's Merry Manor West, in Wabash.
Mr. Ridgeway was a 1957 graduate of Noble Township High School and attended the Purdue University Short Course. He was a maintenance engineer at Wabash County Hospital, retiring after almost 35 years. After retirement, he worked part-time mowing at Etna Acres Golf Course. He was a member of the Wabash Elks Lodge and the Hospital Engineers Association.
He was born on Dec. 1, 1938, in LaFontaine, to Marvin and Martha Deafenbaugh Ridgeway. He married Linda Miller on June 26, 1960, at the Church of the Brethren, in Wabash. She survives in Andrews.
Additional survivors include two children, Paula (Keith) Whiting, of North Manchester, and Les (Dana) Ridgeway, of Milford; five siblings, Marilyn (Allen) Shinn, of Bunker Hill, Merlin (Jane) Ridgeway, of LaFontaine, Mike (Mary Lou) Ridgeway, of Inman, SC, Brian (Sherry) Ridgeway, of Lagro, and Ronnie Garrison of Denver, CO; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Ridgeway, on Aug. 12, 2008.
A graveside service and burial will take place Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at 2 p.m., at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 1100 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Joel Wallenback officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
