Christine Diane Mieher (Sell), 56, of Van Buren, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Mieher graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1983. She graduated from Purdue University in 1987 with an Animal Science degree. She earned a Medical Technology degree from Indiana University in 1994 and her MBA with a healthcare focus from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007. She was employed at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, as a research assistant. She worked as a medical technologist for many years at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, and at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She served as the lab director at South Haven Community Hospital, South Haven, MI. She was employed most recently at Wabash Community Hospital, Wabash, as a lab director.
She was born on Nov. 15, 1964, in Marion, to Gary and Connie Brown Endsley. She married Terry Sell on Sept. 24, 1999. He survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Joshua Mieher, of Alabama; two daughters, Nicole Mieher, of Colorado, and Ellysia Sell, of Van Buren; and two sisters, Shelley (Ronnie) Boxell, of Warren, and Cindy (Wess) Kistner, of Delphi.
Calling will take place on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again on Friday, Feb. 5, from 10 to 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of life service following immediately after at Glancy Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. Kip Farrar will officiate.
A private interment will be held at a later date. Masks are required.
