Betty Virginia Musser, 95, of Marion, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion.
Mrs. Musser graduated from Marion High School in 1943. She was employed as a receptionist at Lindley Box and Paper Company and later the Davis Clinic. After moving to Huntington in 1965, she sold radio advertising and later worked in the office of the Huntington County Highway Department. When she returned to Marion in 1990, she volunteered at Marion General Hospital. She was a member of PEI Sorority and Meshingomesia Country Club.
She was born on March 29, 1925, in LaFontaine, to Wilbur “Jack” and Cecil Martin Moore. She married David Austen Musser on Dec. 14, 1945. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, David (Deborah) Musser, of South Bend, and Josef Musser, of Marion; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 S. Washington St., Marion. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
