Emma “Penny” Cummins, 79, of Huntington, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, in her home.
Mrs. Cummins was the creator and owner of “Mom and Pop’s Ceramics” for almost 20 years.
She was born on April 19, 1941, in Richmond, to William and Doris Mann. She was first married to David Broom. He preceded her in death in 1976. She then married Robert L. Cummins on Sept. 16, 1978, in Markle. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Survivors include four children, Morris (Debera) Pierson, of Huntington, Carl (Sherry) Pierson, of Huntington, Jimmie (Lori) Pierson, of Andrews, and Debbie Sue (Jerry) Dean, of Hazard County, KY; stepdaughters, Avis (Doug) Hiller, of Urbana, OH, Cindy (Mark) McKay, of Nolensville, TN, Sue Asher, of Eaton, and Becky (David) Kersy, of Huntington; 27 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Tami Glenn, and two grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren.
