Norman Vendrick Hull, 88, of Andrews, IN, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Hull was a 1950 Graduate of Anderson Madison Heights High School and attended Purdue University until he was drafted. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Locke Steel Chain of Huntington and retired after more than 20 years as a bus driver for the Huntington County Community School Corporation. WOWO awarded him Best School Bus Driver Of The Day. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Bippus. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 7 for over 65 years and a member of the National Flying Farmers Association. He was also a past president of the Aero Club in Majenica.
He was born on Nov. 27, 1932, in Bracken, to John G. and Mary Q. Vendrick Hull. He married Shirley Ann Jeffrey on Aug. 27, 1960, in Bippus. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey (Linda) Hull, of Bippus, and John David (Vina) Hull, of Andrews; two grandsons, Alan Miller, of Huntington, Samuel Hull, of Andrews; a granddaughter, Allison Miller, of Huntington; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Barry Faucett officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required at all events.
Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery.
