Donna J. Breedlove, 81, of Bluffton, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at River Terrace Retirement Community.
Mrs. Breedlove was a 1957 graduate of Bluffton High School. She was a homemaker and worked at the Progress Store in Bluffton for many years. She also worked at Pamida Department Store in Bluffton until it closed. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Bluffton and a past member of Sigma Phi Gamma sorority. She also volunteered for several years at the Bargain Hut in Bluffton.
She was born on March 12, 1939, in Oak Harbor, OH, to Arthur J. and Anna L. Hesher Earhart. She married Ivan E. Breedlove on June 1, 1959, in Bluffton. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2019.
Survivors include two sons, Tim (Sarah) Breedlove, of Huntington, and Ron (Kim) Breedlove, of Uniondale; a stepsister, Jan Anderson, of Bluffton; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diann Carroll.
Calling will take place on Saturday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Goodwin–Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a funeral service. Rev. Dr. Bryson E. “Gene” Bell and Adam Carroll will officiate. Visitors are required to wear masks. The funeral service will be available to watch via Facebook Live. Burial will follow the service at Spider Hill Cemetery in Rockford.
Memorials may be made to the First Reformed Church in Bluffton.
