Marjorie H. Holloway, 92, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 4:45 p.m., at her residence.
Mrs. Holloway was a 1946 graduate of Carson City High School. She was a member of the College Park Church of Huntington. She retired from Taylor University, Fort Wayne Campus, after 16 years of service. She worked at the United Brethren Church Headquarters in publishing and missions for 19 years.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1928, in Carson City, MI, to Vern I. and Helen R. Davis Evans. She married Joseph L. Holloway on May 29, 1949, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2019.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia A. (Tom) Waldfogel, of Fort Wayne, Marilyn K. Ratliff, of Huntington, and Trudy Jo (Gene) Guthrie, of Fort Wayne; a son, Gary Lynn (Teresa) Holloway, of Fort Wayne; two granddaughters, Melanie (Greg) Coleman and Elizabeth (Kyle) Rohane; a grandson, Nathan (Tiffany) Waldfogel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Ratliff.
Calling will take place on Thursday, March 11, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary. An additional calling will take place on Friday, March 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., at College Park United Brethren Church, 1945 College Avenue, Huntington, with a funeral service following immediately after. Rev. Jason Carter and Rev. Paul Hirschy will officiate. Masks and social distancing are required.
Burial will be at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
