Paula D. Dillon, 56, of Fort Wayne, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Monday, March 22, 2021, at 5:19 p.m., at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.Mrs. Dillon was a 1982 graduate of Huntington North High School and earned a degree in Hospitality Management. She was a homemaker. She was born on Sept. 3, 1964, in Huntington, to Charles Hammond and Deloris Brickley Hammond. Her mother survives. She was married to Mike Dillon. He survives in Fort Wayne. Additional survivors include a daughter, Nichole D. (Jude) Heinkel; a son, Joshua M. (Katherine) Dillon, of Huntington; seven sisters, Ann Beck, Rhonda Overholser, Carrie Hammond, Cathy Kovener, Teresa Fruit, Carla Selvage and Barb Osborne; and seven grandchildren, Jalynn Heinkel, Serenitee Heinkel, Lillian Shady, Grace Shady, Louise Dillon, Jude Heinkel III and Canaan Heinkel. Calling will take place on Saturday, April 17, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Promenade Park, 202 W. Superior St., Fort Wayne. Bailey-Love Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
