William “Bill” Ledgerwood

William “Bill” Ledgerwood, 78, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 3:45 a.m., at Majestic Care of West Allen, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Ledgerwood was a truck driver with Ledgerwood & Sons, National Oil and Gas and Ormsby Trucking. He was a member of New Hope Ministry, Roanoke.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1943, in Washington, IN, to Elmo O. and Maxine E. Thomas Ledgerwood. He married Pat Ashcraft on March 5, 2011.  She survives in Huntington.

Additional survivors include a son, Darren (Patti) Ledgerwood, of Columbia City; a daughter, Darla (Tracy) Gray, of Washington, IN; two brothers, Roger (Kris) Ledgerwood, of Washington, IN, and Carl (Jeanie) Ledgerwood, of Paoli; two sisters, Darlene (Bob) Hughes, of Washington, IN, and June (Gary) Mattingley, of Springville; six grandchildren, Bradley Ledgerwood, Adam Ledgerwood, Tyler Ledgerwood, Chantal Byers, Shelby Evans and Tori Evans; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Calling will take place on Saturday, April 3, from noon to 2 p.m., with a funeral service following immediately after at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Graham will officiate.

Burial will follow at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
