Terry Wayne Guerin

Terry Wayne Guerin, 69, of Van Buren, IN, and with ties to Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at 8:14 p.m., at his home in Van Buren.

Mr. Guerin graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1969. He also attended IU/Purdue Fort Wayne and Airline School in Kansas City. He worked as an EMT and fireman in Laramie, WY, and ran a steam cleaning business. He also worked for Magnavox and Auburn Foundry. He also worked on a ranch with buffalo in Wyoming. He got his CDL license and worked for 20 years as a boom truck and crane operator delivering materials to construction sites for West, North Coast and Shelter. He was a member of the McNatt Church and was active in the Grant County Tea Party. He also belonged to the Rural Smiths of Mid-America, the Indiana Blacksmithing Association, Midwest Ox Drovers Gathering and Indiana Barn Foundation.

He was born on July 5, 1951, in Fort Wayne, to Dale E. Guerin and Alice J. Keller. He married Lois Guerin on Dec. 6, 2003, at Springhill Church, in Berne. She survives in Van Buren.

Additional survivors include two sons, Matthew Wayne (Sara Marie) Sullivan, of Germany, and Micah Clifford Sullivan, of Berne; and a sister, Sandra (John) Wright, of Roanoke.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m., at McNatt Church, 9183W-800S.-90, Warren. A light lunch will follow in the fellowship center.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren.
