Nicholas Quinn Bradbury

Nicholas Quinn Bradbury, 35, of Huntington, IN, and stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

Mr. Bradbury attended Huntington North High School where he played football his junior and senior years. He played baseball for Huntington County Baseball for many years and he attended Huntington University for a short time. He worked in Huntington for Carter Lumber and Max Steel and also worked at Menards in Fort Wayne before entering the Air Force. He was an active duty Airman since November of 2007, where he served in the 724th Special Tactics Support Squadron for five years as a vehicle maintainer. He previously served in the 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Eielson AFB, AK, and the 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Moody AFB, GA. He was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal three times. He deployed in support of numerous overseas contingency operations in multiple locations including Iraq, Palau, Japan and Niger, Africa.

He was born on May 21, 1986, in Huntington, to Dee Ann (Randy) Snead and Condan (Susan) Bradbury. His mother and stepfather survive in Huntington. His father and stepmother survive in Roanoke.

Additional survivors include two sisters, Krissy (Marcus) Niccum, of North Manchester and Kami (Jake) Biggs, of Huntington; a brother, Bryon (Kathy) Snead, of North Manchester; Step-brother, Eric (Rabecca) McNamara, of Florida; two half brothers, Michael (Stephanie) Bradbury and Brent (Nikki) Bradbury.

Calling will take place today, Monday, May 3, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Faith Community Church Of God, 3615 North Norwood Road, Huntington.

A  funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Faith Community Church Of God, with Rev. Micah Mobley officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
