Jack Delvin Guy

Jack Delvin Guy, 95, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10:45 p.m., at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mr. Guy served as an infantryman in the U.S. Marines during WWII from 1944 to1946. He retired as an engineer from Erie Lackawana Railroad, later know as Conrail. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He was born on April 27, 1926, in Huntington, to Frank and Bessie Urshel Guy. He married Ruth A. Gamble in 1966. She survives in Huntington.

Additional survivors include two sons, Timothy S. (Lori) Guy, of Huntington, and Christopher T. Guy, of South Bend; a daughter, Ann (Ron) Morgan, of South Bend; four granddaughters, Heather Stigner, of South Bend, Courtney Rhodes, of South Bend, Angelique Vinson, of South Bend, and Jennifer DuPriest, of Huntington; two grandsons, Taylor Guy, of Springfield, MO, and Dustin DuPriest, of Fort Wayne; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Calling will take place on Friday, May 7, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 648 N. LaFontaine St., Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Timothy Lorenz officiating. Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.
