Dan Alford, 70, of Roanoke, IN, died Saturday, June 19, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Alford was the owner and operator of his plumbing businesses, D & D Plumbing and Homework Services. In his later years, he built several homes on Lake Wawasee.
He was born in Murfreesboro, AK, to James and Francis Alford. Francis survives in Markle. He was married to Deb Alford for 49 years. She survives in Roanoke.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Danya (Mark) Renner, of Craigville, Jamie (Zane) Pine, of Markle, and Valerie (Chris) Petrie, of Markle; two siblings, Kay (Kurt) Ullman, of Bonita Springs, FL, and Donnie Alford of Markle; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place today, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 6 p.m., at Cornerstone Alliance Church, 5833E- 900W, Roanoke, with calling two hours prior.
