Patricia Effie Graham Kendall, 77, of Urbana, IN, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 9:58 a.m., at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Kendall worked as a registered nurse. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Wabash, and currently attended the Wabash Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and was a breeder of Yorkie dogs and Ragdoll cats. She was also a foster parent for several years. She lived in Huntington for 25 years and lived in Urbana for the last 24 years.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1943, in Rochester, NH, to Leroy and Lillian Keefe Cox. She was first married to F. Ralph Graham; he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1993. She then married Richard Kendall on May 24, 1997. He survives in Urbana.
Additional survivors include four children, Scott Graham, of Wabash, Steven Graham, of Rochester, NH, Matt (Deana) Kendall, of North Manchester, and Kathy (Stephen) Hipskind, of Wabash; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Courtemanche and Aaron Graham, both of Rochester, NH, Katie Graham, Isaiah Graham, and Levi Graham, all of Hoagland, Jessica Hipskind, of Wabash, and Ryan Kendall and Erika Kendall, both of North Manchester; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Richard Hipskind.
Calling will take place on Tuesday, June 29, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Steve Eckart officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
