Geraldine Ann Thompson, 93, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at 12:10 a.m., at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington.
Mrs. Thompson graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1947. She retired as a Machine Operator from Wabash Magnetics after more than 20 years of service. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.
She was born on March 2, 1928 in Huntington, to Calvin and Freida Leu Brown. She married David Byron Thompson on June 26, 1954 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1990.
Survivors include three sons, Byron A. (Michelle) Thompson, of Fort Wayne, Greg L. (Melissa) Thompson, of Huntington, and Samuel E. (Martha) Thompson, of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Tina (Timothy) Inman, of Huntington, and Melissa A. (Robert) Jones, of Warren; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place today, Monday, July 12, 2021, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Central Christian Church, 500 MacGahan St., Huntington.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 11 a.m., at the church, with Rev. Chris Hayden officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington. Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
