Mary Jane Craig, 84, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at 9:01 a.m., at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Mrs. Craig was a 1956 graduate of Huntington High School. She was a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church in Warren. She taught Sunday school, helped with missions and participated in the Baptist Women's Group. She retired from Wabash Magnetic in Huntington after many years of service. She was also a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, Columbia City Chapter No. 65.
She was born on May 4, 1937, in Tucson, AZ, to Merrill and Berniece Emily McNay. She married Paul Craig on Nov. 23, 1958, in the First Baptist Church in Warren. He survives in Warren.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Dana Sue (Jim) Elliott, of Ossian, and Barbara Louise (Dean) Amburgey, of Marion; and a granddaughter, Erin Elliott, of Bluffton.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Fred Dutt.
Calling will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 727 N. Wayne St., Warren.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, from at 10 a.m. at the church, with calling an hour before the service. Rev. Rusty Strickler will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren.
Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
