Nola F. Osmon, 80, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Roanoke, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital.
Mrs. Osmon was a 1959 graduate of Roanoke High School. She had worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 35 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No.160 in Roanoke.
She was born on March 17, 1941, in Roanoke, to Noel and Lily Mendenhall Reed. She married Robert Osmon in Roanoke. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Roger (Cindy) Snyder, of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Beth (Roger) Weirauch, of Huntington; a brother, Charles “Butch” Reed, of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Cress; a grandson, Justin Shake; and a great-granddaughter.
Calling will take place on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with one hour of calling prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Glenwood Cemetery in Roanoke.
