Santos Ricardo Villanueva, 69, of Warren, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at his residence in Huntington.
Mr. Villanueva was a high school and college graduate. He served in the U. S. Army and in the Reserves of the Air National Guard. He worked and retired from Bendix as a journeyman. He currently was working at DeWeese Soft Water & Appliance in Warren. He attended Mt. Etna United Methodist Church.
He was born on July 27, 1952, in Wheatland, WY, to Santos C. and Anita Salazar Villanueva. He married Patty Drabenstot on Jan. 4, 2002. She survives and resides in Warren.
Additional survivors include a son, Joseph (Stephanie) Villanueva, of Bluffton; three daughters, Holly Villanueva, of Huntington, Kari (James) Green and KaylaAnn Villanueva, both of Warren; one stepson, Brian Gray, of Warren; one stepdaughter, Christy Gray, of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Joe Villanueva, of Wyoming, Ray (Linda) Villanueva, of Roanoke, and Fidencio (Audelia) Villanueva, of Washington; one sister, Irene (Frank) Martinez, of South Bend; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Mt. Etna United Methodist Church, 6383W-600S, Huntington, with Rev. Michael Gallant officiating. McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
A burial will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
