Russell E. Hale, 67, of Huntington, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at 6:51 a.m., at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Hale attended Huntington North High School. He worked in construction as a builder, then was a skilled machinist at Shaw Machine Shop for 10 years. He went on to work as a driver for City Beverage Brewing Company, then finished the last 11 years of his working career at Wabash Magnetics.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1954, in Huntington, to William H. and Ellen I. Branstrator Hale.
He is survived by a daughter, Jamie E. Hale, of Port Orange, FL; two sons, Nathaniel L. Hale, of Huntington, and Cheyenne DC. Hale, of Woodburn; four sisters, Bridget Hale, Veronica Holley, Kimberly Weaver and Bonnie (Jerry) Holbrooks, all of Huntington; a brother, Robin E. Hale, of Huntington; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel.
A graveside service will follow at 12:15 p.m. in Union Cemetery, Huntington.
