Max Lee Cordill, 84, of North Manchester, IN, and with family ties to Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash.
Mr. Cordill worked at United Technologies Corporation for many years, working his way to supervisor. In the early 1990s, he retired after open heart surgery.
He was born on July 28, 1937, in South Whitley, to James D. and Ruth L. Stafford Cordill. He married Pauline Lester on Nov. 7, 1986. She survives in North Manchester.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Laura Conley, of Huntington, and Sheryl Jackson, of North Manchester; three sons, Kelly Ratliff, of North Manchester, Lee (Gina) Ratliff, of Warsaw, and Brian Ratliff, of North Manchester; a brother, Charles Cordill, of Huntington; three sisters, Judy Stouder, of Florida, Susann Eakright, of North Manchester, and Sereta (Danny) Jasper, of Florida; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Jean Cordill, and a son-in-law, Jack Conley.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date at South Whitley Cemetery, 7745 Ind.- 14, South Whitley. McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, is handling arrangements.
