Robert Gregory Pease, 90, formerly of New York City, NY, and with ties to Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Pease was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War, at Fort Belvoir, VA. After his military service, he obtained an associate’s from Alfred AG Tech., in Alfred, NY. He retired from Superior Linkage in New Haven on Jan. 31, 1992. He was a member of the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Garfield, MD, and formerly attended Union Church in Huntington.
He was born on June 13, 1931, in New York City, NY, to Robert Matthews Pease and Anna Mae Gregory Pease. He was married to Eileen M. Pease for 67 years. She survives.
Additional survivors include four children, Patricia G. Lindsley, Mary Lu Roszko, Robert M. (Dera) Pease and Katrina A. (Robert F. III) Beckley: a son-in-law, Col. Marc H. Lindsley (Ret); and six grandchildren, Keith S. (Nicole) Lindsley, Robert C. (Susan) Pease, Jared M. Pease, Christopher A. Pease, Lindsay M. Roszko, Hannah L. Beckley and Aaron M. Beckley.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kathryn Marie Lindsley and a son-in-law, Stephen Y. Roszko.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at 4:30 p.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling to begin at 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will take place at a later date in Garfield, MD, at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church.
