Timothy W. Shockome, age 59, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at 7:36 a.m., at his home.Mr. Shockome graduated from Huntington North High School in 1980 and received his degree in maintenance tech from Ivy Tech. He worked at various factories including Hayes-Lemerez (Western Wheel) and United Technology. He also drove semis. He attended Bethesda Freewill Baptist Church in Andrews. He also played softball for an AAA team and for Summit traveling team. He was born June 29, 1962, in Huntington, to Jay D. and Shelby J. Williams Shockome. Survivors include his significant other, Cindy Eckert; five children, Kaylie (Corey) Lotkowski, Typhanie (Sky) Shockome, Ezekiel “Zeek” Shockome, and Keegan Shockome, all of Huntington, and Rebecca Shockome, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Denise (Robert) Taylor, of North Manchester; two brothers, Tony (Rainelle) Shockome, of Columbia City, and Karl J. (Amy) Shockome, of Andrews; and eight grandchildren, Carmyn Horn, Carleigh Horn, Carrynn Horn, Korbin Stallings, Kyler Stallings, Jaxx Stallings, Gabriel Colon and Jayce Shockome. Calling will take place on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Bethesda Freewill Baptist Church, Andrews, and again on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. A funeral service will immediately follow the calling on Tuesday.
