Dr. Jean Ann Tribolet, 87, of Roanoke, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, at 7:35 a.m., at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne.
Ms. Tribolet graduated from Roanoke High School in 1952. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Manchester College in 1956, her Master of Arts from University of Colorado in 1959 and her Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1970. Post doctorate studies were done at Rutgers University in New Jersey and Alfred Adler Institute in Chicago. She taught in the public school system for 25 years and served as director of guidance services in both Huntington and Whitley counties. She was a psychology professor, former dean of women and registrar at Manchester University.
She was born on May 11, 1934, in Huntington, to Claude D. and Gladys M. Rupert Tribolet.
Survivors include a sister, Monie Harley, as well as a nephew and nieces.
Calling will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes. A memorial service will immediately follow. Guests are asked to wear masks indoors. Some family and friends will initially gather outdoors for visitation.
