Barbara Sue Butler, 72, of Bluffton, and with family ties to Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 2:07 p.m., at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Butler graduated from Deshler High School in 1968. She retired in 2008 as a picker from Peyton's Northern Distribution in Bluffton after 15 years of service.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1949, in Napoleon, OH, to Guy Dishong and Betty Dannenberger Amato. She married Dennis Elton Butler on Feb. 24, 1973, in Bluffton. He preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2012.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Arlene (Terry A.) Barton, of Bluffton; a brother, David (Renee) Dishong, of Ohio; two granddaughters, Haley (Cameran) Braumberger, of Huntington, and Ashley (Travis) Minnich, of Geneva; a grandson, Bradley Taylor, of Marion; four great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
A funeral service will take place today, Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Taylor Petre officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
