Mary Ann Burnworth, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at 8:45 p.m., at her son's residence.
Mrs. Burnworth graduated from Huntington High School in 1962. She retired as a realtor/broker and was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1944, in Wabash, to Otto and Emma Sunderman Guhl. She married Nelson Edward Burnworth on Nov. 28, 1964 in Huntington. He survives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include a son, Michael E. (Julie) Burnworth, of Huntington; a daughter, Karen R. (Tommy) Smith, of Huntington; two brothers, Richard (Sara) Guhl, of Decatur, IL, and James (Linda) Guhl, of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Ruth Guhl, of Fort Wayne; three granddaughters, Kristia (Anthony) Goodnight, Emily (Nick) Alles and Megan (Rob) Sands; three grandsons, Sean (Kayla) Smith, Brandon (Becca) Burnworth and Ryan Smith; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, from noon to 3 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Don Sandmann officiating.
