Loretta I. Hine, 78, of Roanoke, IN, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at 2 p.m., at her residence.
Mrs. Hine graduated from Lafayette Central High School in 1962. She worked as a winder at General Electric, retiring after 32 years of service.
She was born on May 27, 1943, in Fort Wayne, to Charles and Inez Pogue Topp. She married Larry A. Hine on June 2, 1962. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Marla (Chris) Fahl, of Roanoke; a son, Larry T. Hine, of Roanoke; two sisters, Judy Fouts, of Colorado, and Marian Machon, of Fort Wayne; a granddaughter, Heather Hine; three grandsons, Gage Hine, Grant Richardson and Noah Miller; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Harshman.
Calling will take place on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Dale Bauman officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Roanoke.
