James A. LeStarge Sr., 70, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at 2:01 p.m., at his residence.
Mr. LeStarge graduated from Monticello High School in Monticello, WI. He worked at General Motors in facilities support, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member and retiree of UAW Local 2209 and a member of the American Legion Post No. 160.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1950, in Chicago, IL, to Charles LeStarge, Sr. and Helen Meike LeStarge. He was formerly married to Joyce E. Rawlins, and she survives. He was currently engaged to Gail I. Miller. She survives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Kelly J. (Scott A.) Coe, of Fort Wayne, and Randi L. (Anthony) Brooke, of Bremen; a son, James A. (Hallie Kruckeberg) LeStarge Jr., of Fort Wayne; fiancé’s children, Robin I. (Brant) Driscoll, of Huntington, and Rachel A. Allred, of Ohio; two brothers, Charles J. (Jane) LeStarge, of Cape Coral, FL, and Ronald J. (Donna) LeStarge, of Monroe, WI; a sister, Margaret L. (Chuck) Goldstein, of Roselle, IL; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 2 to 4 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow the second viewing. Face masks are required during all services.
