Jimmy B. Dye, 84, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Majestic Care in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Dye served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad for 20 years, and later worked at Breyers/Sealtest for 20 years.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1937, in Huntington, to Gerald and Arlou Harrel Dye. He married Gloria Bil on Feb. 24, 1973, in Roanoke. She survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Dean (Jennifer) Dye, of Noblesville, Michael (Jill) Dye, of Indianapolis, and Richard Dye, of Indianapolis; two daughters, Kelly Dye, of Indiana, and Barbara Foster of Indianapolis; and eight grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Those in attendance are asked to follow CDC and state COVID-19 guidelines.
